We had 19 children in our house today for a Valentine Sock Hop. It was lots of fun. Grace loved watching Amy teach the older girls the dances. Ben and I both learned the Chicken Dance and the Macarena. The kids all made masks and danced and played the morning away.
After lunch we decorated cookies, but Bradford got the prize for Valentine decorating--bright red blood all over the basement. A boy threw Grace's doll high chair at him, and it made a deep gash in his forehead: 2 levels of stitches deep, 10 stitches big. He punched the boy before leaving the house, but when he came home he apologized and told him how glad he was to have gone to the Urgent Care because he got to play video games. They'll probably end up great friends.
Now I'm exhausted from a full day on less than a full night's sleep, so off I go to get my work done.

You are such a good and FUN Mom.
You are building wonderful memories for your children when they grow up.
Yikes about Bradford and the other kid. Andrew needed stitches about 6 months ago when Brendan used his head for baseball practice. (accidentally of course)
Oh, my!
