Sophie: How old are you Dad? Are you in your 80's?

Mark: Nooo.

Sophie: Your 70's?

Sadie: No, he's in his 40's.  He's 48. That means he has 48 ribs. You get one every year you're alive. That's what I learned in science.

Sophie: Oh, yeah. I forgot.
