Sadie is Funny

A conversation held daily between myself and Sadie:

Mommy: It's time for naps.

Sadie: No, teef.

Mommy: You need to brush your teeth?

Sadie: (nods head) and Sophie brush teef.

Mommy: and Sophie needs to brush her teeth?

Sadie: (nods head) and Gacie brush teef.

Mommy: and Gracie needs to brush her teeth?

Sadie: (nods head)

Mommy: Okay. Let's go get your teeth brushed, and then you'll take a nap.

A note to anyone thinking that this child of mine is being rebellious or stalling for time: Maybe she is, and maybe she isn't, but brushing teeth is a good idea, and I'm all for it, even when the idea comes from a 2-year old. There are plenty of times that she wants something and does not get it, throws a tantrum and is promptly disciplined--this just doesn't happen to be one of them.
