A child sleeping on our floor, vomit bowl close at hand, is an all-too-familiar sight this week. Maybe, just maybe, it is coming to an end (until next time Becky is in Georgia--we always get really sick when she is in town, so it must be her fault).
And then there is Sophie-ophie-ophie-ophie. She would be one of the few babies who decide to get their teeth out of the established order. Four molars. That is what she is currently working on, plus the top teeth that are supposed to come in. Either because of a cold or because of teething, she is a snotty mess. Sophie sleeping either beside me or in my closet is also very common these days.
Sadie is teething correctly and not getting six teeth in all at once. Thank you, dear. She is currently my favorite baby because she sleeps, and she sleeps in her own bed.
I'm sure I've mentioned that they are such. bad. babies. This morning they went into my closet and began opening Christmas gifts. The poor boys think they are getting their very own copies of The Dangerous book for Boys when in fact they are getting their own hymnals. Oops.
And now Liam is here for the afternoon, and I've kids to feed, so tally-ho.
