Jeni Dawdles and the Boys Dig

I should be cleaning. Really. The house needs my attention, but first things first.

Nathaniel just came in asking for 2 paintbrushes and 2 hammers. Hmmm.

"Why dear?"

"We are paleontologists. We're digging for dinosaur bones in the backyard, and we need paintbrushes to get the dust off, and the hammers to see what is inside."

I'm not optimistic about their success in finding dinosaurs, but it'll hopefully give me twenty minutes to get the kitchen cleaned up.

Six-year-olds should not know how to say "paleontologist!" ;)
