Benjamin won 1st place in the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby, and Bradford won 2nd place. Boy were we surprised and they happy.
Everyone was trying to figure out why their cars were doing amazingly better than anyone else's, and the boys offered the suggestion that it was the glow-in-the-dark paint. The other adults concluded it was the placement of the weights, which is ridiculous, because Bradford's weights consisted of about $3 in quarters taped all over and under his car. The REAL reason they won is because my dad spent a good 15 minutes getting the wheels on perfectly straight. DON'T TELL ANYONE OUR SECRET!!
