We Learn to Wait

Our house is for sale. A family came by today and looked at it for less than 2 minutes. They came while I was changing a poopy diaper. Not exactly your freshly-baked-bread smell realtors tell you people like, but how could it be helped? The woman walked out back, and as if on cue, the dog barked. It's a big dog, and it barks a lot. It was obvious they will not buy our house, and that is fine. Anyone who can walk out back and not stop and at least look at the roses doesn't belong here. So we must wait in a cooling market for our house to sell.

Mark had interviews with ltwo principals this week. Both would love to have him...IF he can get certified before they complete their hiring. His last test for Florida certification is April 22, and then he must go through the process in Georgia. And in between is a bunch of waiting.

Mark and Ben and my father looked at houses in Georgia. Lovely houses that could work for us, but we cannot make an offer until ours is in contract, and will those be available when we have ready money? Again, we wait and see.

Waiting is very hard, especially when you have no idea what you're waiting for. God help us.
