We went to the beach for the 4th of July fireworks. I've lived here for 7 years, and this is the first time we've done this. And the last. The display was great, but it was not worth a 1 1/2 hour drive home, especially with 4 overly-tired children and one overly full bladder. Agh.
Actually, the trip to the beach was pretty fun. Since it was for a birthday party, we didn't have to pack food. Bradford hardly came out of the water, Ben swam quite a bit, Nathaniel got his feet wet, and Gracey had plenty of people to hold her. When the boys asked to go to the bathroom, we told them to use the ocean. "Really?!?" Oh, the things you learn. Thankfully none of them noticed the large woman-of-color who kept pulling her bathing suit down to her waist! Some things can wait.
It's official: Mark has been accepted into the Graduate program at Liberty. For the next 3-5 years, he'll be studying and working very hard to get his Ed. Specialist degree in Educational Leadership or something like that.
And it's also official that we are not doing any more school work until August. This week we have a friend staying with us for three days, and next week we leave for Georgia.

Okay... so does that mean that you're moving? Or not? Or staying? Is the course load via correspondence or the internet? Where IS Liberty? Okay, so now I'm thinking you're moving somewhere or something... yikes!

The degree is mostly on-line, but he will have to take three classes on campus. No, we're stuck here for at least one more year... I mean, we get to enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna of Florida for another year.
